Disappointing day at Stamford Bridge as the hosts took the 3 points. Arsenal came out of the blocks quickly but failed to score the first goal of the game which came from Marcos Alonso in the 13th minute. Hector Bellerin unfortunately got injured during the goal after Alonso’s elbow. The half time score was 1-0 Chelsea.

The second half started slowly with a calamity performance from the defence which left Hazard driving at them and scoring the second for Chelsea. The Arsenal players looked lack luster after the second goal went in. Cech gave the ball away for the third goal which was tucked away by the former gunner Fabregas.

It was almost looking like revenge from the 3-0 victory by Arsenal in September, until Giroud grabbed a consolation goal in the 91st minute which slimmed the score line to 3-1 FT. This performance highly unsatisfied many Arsenal fans and left them questioning whether we’re out of the title race already.
